featured adoptable | banjo | adoptable dog | pittsburgh, pa

Banjo is estimated to be around 3 years old.  He is an incredible little guy with a horrible story but a personality that gives away no hints of his rough past.  When he came bounding out to have his photos taken, I noticed his scar and automatically I thought he had a skin condition and maybe an allergic reaction to a flea/tick medication, based on the placement of it.  I was absolutely horrified to find out that no, this scar was inflicted by a person.  Someone poured acid straight down Banjo’s back 🙁  I can’t even fathom a person being able to hurt this sweet baby. Banjo deserves nothing but the very best life with the very best family.  His loyalty is unmatched, and I can’t even wrap my head around how he must have felt to have been so abused by someone he undoubtedly adored.

I wish that I could adopt Banjo myself, but my crazy Emmet wouldn’t allow that.  I hope to help find this boy a family who deserves his love (and I hope to find one that allows me to visit!).  Please email me if you are interested in adopting Banjo, and share this blog post if you know someone who might be willing to take him in and love him 🙂

lucy and reuben | boxer | pittsburgh pet photography

Lucy and Reuben were two of the sweetest boxers I’ve ever met, and two of the most energetic!  They seemed to love our session on the river as much as I did!

    Lucy established herself as a determined-fetcher 🙂

Reuben was more of a studly “poser” 🙂

    Just look at that HOP!

snooki the pomeranian chihuahua | pittsburgh pet photography

Snooki is the sweet 2-year-old baby of my intern, Terasa.  She’s such a funny little dog with such a BIG personality! We had a blast during her summer session, and I’m looking forward to photographing Terasa and Snooki together this fall.

zoey the airedale | pittsburgh pet photographer

I have always had a secret love for Airedale Terriers.  I love a dog with a beard 😉

Zoey’s mom answered a casting call I posted looking specifically for Airedales, and I was so excited to meet and work with her. She was such a fun, silly girl and I love the images we captured during her session!

        • Mary EllenOh Zoey is SO beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I know Zoey (and her mom). I like the one of her trotting and the large one (next to last on this page)—AWESOME!!! My sister has a wire fox terrier named Molly who looks like a miniature Zoey.ReplyCancel
